All the Clues Pretty Little Liars’ Janel Parrish and Husband Chris Long Were Headed for a Split

Some eagle-eyed fans picked up on clues that Pretty Little Liars alum Janel Parrish and husband Chris Long were headed for a split before the news officially broke.

A source confirmed to Us Weekly in April 2026 that the couple had been separated for a few months after eight years of marriage.

Parrish and Long started dating in 2016. He proposed the following year and they tied the knot in 2018.

“He just is my person. My soul knows him,” Parrish told Us exclusively in August 2018, one month before their wedding. “He’s my best friend in the entire world. And no matter what, if I’m having the worst day ever, I feel like I have somebody who understands me. And even if he doesn’t quite understand me at that moment, he tries to. And that feels so nice.”

Parrish also told Us that she felt “so lucky” to have met Long.

“Marrying my dream man in my home of Hawaii surrounded by family and friends was a dream,” she added.

It appears neither Janel Parrish nor Chris Long were particularly fond of sharing details about their relationship on social media.

Parris posted a series of photos in December 2025 about endometriosis awareness, sharing her story. One image showed the actress in a hospital bed holding hands with Long, who was tagged in the photo.

“Even though there’s no cure, let’s continue spreading awareness until there is one. Until then…you’re not alone,” her caption read. “Thankful to my nurse @c_long for being there every step of the way.”

Long, meanwhile, hasn’t posted on Instagram since sharing a tribute to Parrish’s sister in July 2024.
