Offset shot near Florida casino: report
Rapper Offset was shot Monday in Florida, per confirmation from a spokesperson.
A rep for Offset told Page Six, “We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored.”
TMZ first reported that Offset, 34, had been shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Seminole County police told us, “We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.”
They added, “Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”
The identity of the shooter and a motive remain unclear at this time.
Offset’s Migos’ bandmate Takeoff was fatally shot in November 2022. He was killed at a bowling alley around 2:30 a.m. after an altercation broke out over a dice game,
Offset shares three kids with his estranged wife Cardi B, 33. The couple are currently divorcing after years of allegations of infidelity.
