North West’s ‘uncomfortable’ greeting with model, 23, at Paris Fashion Week goes viral

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s 13-year-old daughter’s interaction with a 23-year-old model during her Paris Fashion Week appearance has gone viral.

North West was approached by Matteo Sinet at the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show on Friday to take a photo together, in a video shared via X by rapper Skepta.

The-43-year-old drew attention to North holding out her hand for a shake before Sinet embraced her, claiming, “A blind man could see she wanted a handshake.”

“My fans know I try to stay out of peoples business but damn the way grown men, complete strangers, try to use North makes me sick,” Skepta wrote on Saturday. “Protect your kids people. Protect your kids!”

Many social media users agreed the teenager “look[ed] so uncomfortable” during the exchange, with one writing, “The awkwardness in that video is painful.”

Others, however, pointed out that Sinet “didn’t linger or make it weird” and asked whether “hugging is a social offense” — to which Skepta replied, “What are you talking about?! She is 13 years old and she put her hand out for a handshake, you don’t ignore that. I can’t believe some these [sic] replies to my tweet.”

A source, notably, tells Page Six that North “wasn’t uncomfortable at all and just wasn’t sure if [Sinet] wanted to shake hands or hug.”

Reps for Kardashian, West and Sinet did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

North attended Friday’s event without either of her parents at her side.

She was in town with her dad and his wife, Bianca Censori, then flew with them to Florida for a performance.

The teen rocked her signature blue wig and several faux face piercings, including two new angel bites on her top lip.

Her all-black ensemble featured a long-sleeved black shirt, a mini tennis skirt, tights and combat boots.

She sported a similar look for her first musical festival performance earlier this month.

Her six-track EP, “N0rth4evr,” came out in May, as well as her eerie music video of the same name.

North, additionally, has performed twice with West this year in January and April.

Kardashian gushed to Complex in February over her eldest child for “releasing music, having fun with it, and doing it her own way.”

The reality star, who shares three other children with West, added, “She isn’t afraid [of whether or not] people will like it. She’s like her dad in that if she likes it, that’s enough for her, and she doesn’t really care about outside opinions.”
