‘This Is Us’ Babies: Get to Know the Cast’s Children in Photos

The cast of This Is Us are just as close to their own families as their characters were on the NBC drama series.

“[Playing a mom has] shown me that maybe I am not as patient as I thought I was,” Mandy Moore, who portrayed matriarch Rebecca Pearson, exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2019, noting that she learned how to change a diaper during the show’s first season. “But maybe it will be different when it’s your own children.”

Moore shares three kids — sons Gus and Ozzie and daughter Louise — with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith.

As for Moore’s TV husband Ventimiglia, the This Is Us patriarch became a real-life dad in January 2025 in the same month he and wife Jarah Mariano lost their home in the Los Angeles wildfires.

“We’re doing great. My wife is the strongest person I know, and to be able to rebound from any of that is huge,” Ventimiglia, who played Jack Pearson, told Us in December 2025, recalling daughter Ke’ala’s arrival. “We’re still dealing with the remnants of the fires, but thank God we’ve been responsible with our funds and finances and were ready for something like this to happen.”

The next month, in January 2026, Us confirmed that Mariano was pregnant with baby No. 2. They welcomed their second little one, Rock-Anthony, in June 2026.
