No need to open Shazam, Bridgerton fans — we’ve got you covered.

Since the royal Netflix show first premiered in December 2020, fans have fallen in love with its steamy romance, extravagant costumes and wide range of classical covers of some of the biggest pop hits. The music of the first three seasons — including covers of Miley Cyrus and Rihanna songs — helped set the backdrop of pivotal scenes, and of course, many, many balls.

Ahead of season 4, showrunner Jess Brownell revealed that her “angle” for the season 4 soundtrack is “classic rock,” though she noted there would be “modern bangers” and “always a Taylor Swift cover.”

The show’s Grammy-nominated composer, Kris Bowers, also spoke to Shondaland about what fans can expect this season, hinting that he “created a slightly different sound” this time around.

This season focuses on class politics as the unexpected romance between Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson), a wealthy heir, and Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), a maid from the working class, unfolds — and Bowers emphasized that viewers will feel that tension through the music.

“It’s a lot more folksy kind of stuff. The grooves are a little bit different,” he said. “The instrumentation is much more intimate and tighter and not so regal in terms of how it sounds.”

From an Usher party hit to an angsty Olivia Rodrigo anthem, here’s a complete Bridgerton season 4 part 1 song guide.

Warning: Bridgerton season 4 part 1 spoilers ahead.

“Life in Technicolor” (Coldplay cover) – Vitamin String Quartet

The first classical cover of season 4 is Vitamin String Quartet’s version of Coldplay’s “Life in Technicolor,” which plays as Sophie arrives to Violet Bridgerton’s (Ruth Gemmell) masquerade ball as the Lady in Silver.

She walks through the home, taking in the sparkling interior and watching as the dance begins.

When you can hear it: Episode 1, “The Waltz” – around 0:19.

“DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” (Usher ft. Pitbull Cover) – Strings From Paris

Nothing signals a dance party quite like Usher’s “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love,” so it’s only right that the classical version by Strings From Paris plays during one of the masquerade dances.

The song begins just after Benedict rescues Sophie from sharing a dance with another attendee. While Benedict guides her to the dance floor, she admits that she doesn’t know how to dance — and that she isn’t necessarily looking for a suitor.

The dramatic cover continues to guide the drama of the party, from Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) choosing Benedict as her bachelor of the season to Eloise (Claudia Jessie) discovering her sister Hyacinth (Florence Hunt) had snuck in to the ball.

When you can hear it: Episode 1, “The Waltz” – around 0:35.

“Never Let You Go” (Third Eye Blind Cover) – Vitamin String Quartet

The Vitamin String Quartet cover of Third Eye Blind’s “Never Let You Go” comes at a rather fitting moment, as it’s just after Queen Charlotte has denied Lady Danbury’s (Adjoa Andoh) request to leave the ton.

The music signals the end of their conversation and the start of a dance between the attendees of the ball, and continues as Benedict takes Sophie to the private terrace to teach her how to dance.

When you can hear it: Episode 1, “The Waltz” – around 0:42.

“Enchanted” (Taylor Swift Cover) – Joseph William Morgan

Nothing brings a romantic storyline to life like bringing in one of Swift’s most fairy-tale-like tracks — even if the scene is a heartbreaking one.

Joseph William Morgan’s cover of “Enchanted” plays as Benedict meets with Posy Li (Isabella Wei) — Sophie’s stepsister whom he believes is a candidate for the Lady in Silver.

Sophie watches from the crack of the door, despite Alfie’s (David Moorst) push for her to enter and tell him the truth of her identity.

When you can hear it: Episode 2, “Time Transfixed” – around 0:33.

“All I Wanted” (Paramore Cover) – Vitamin String Quartet

Vitamin String Quartet’s cover of rock band Paramore’s “All I Wanted” helps wrap up the third episode, beginning during Lady Bridgerton and Lord Anderson’s (Daniel Francis) sweet admission of desire for each other.

It picks up as they share a kiss, and continues as Sophie prepares to leave My Cottage, continuing her and Benedict’s trek back to Mayfair.

When you can hear it: Episode 3, “The Field Next to the Other Road” – around 1:03.

“Bad Idea Right?” (Olivia Rodrigo Cover) – Caleb Chan

Rodrigo’s “Bad Idea Right?” is covered by Caleb Chan in the end of part 1, as Benedict and Sophie cross paths in the stairwell and finally give in to their tension with a steamy kiss.

Viewers hear the angsty bridge of the anthem that usually hears Rodrigo sing, “”I only see him as a friend,’ the biggest lie I ever said.”

The song stops just before Benedict asks Sophie what some might argue is his own version of a “bad idea:” proposing she be his mistress.

When you can hear it: Episode 4, “An Offer From a Gentleman” – around 0:52.
