Aaron Rodgers’ Ex Mallory Edens Seemingly Responds to NFL Star Throwing Shade at Former Girlfriends

Aaron Rodgers’ ex, Mallory Edens, appears to be clapping back after he said he was “emotionally unavailable” in various past relationships.

Model, actress and film producer Edens, 30, who is the daughter of billionaire Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens, was briefly linked with Rodgers, 42, in 2023, before he married wife Brittani.

On Monday, September 21, Edens shared a series of photos via Instagram and captioned the post, “My ex is currently on a press tour talking about how he never loved anyone he dated after 2017.”

“Unfortunately for him, I am also on a press tour for a movie inspired by how down bad I was,” Edens continued, referring to the romantic drama Charlie Harper starring Nick Robinson, which she coproduced. “Really exciting time for competing narratives!! ❤️”

Edens was seemingly responding to the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback candidly talking about his past relationships during a September 10 appearance on the “Not Just Football” podcast.

In the interview, Rodgers divulged that he first met his now-wife, Brittani, in 2017 and fell deeply in love, however, it wasn’t meant to be at the time. He subsequently dated former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick, actress Shailene Woodley — to whom he was briefly engaged — and Edens, though he said he still had feelings for Brittani.

“In 2017 I met my wife, and at the time, she was leaving the States and going back to Europe. And my biggest regret is not begging her to stay or proposing right there, because that sent me right there into a tailspin of what can I be accused of as a partner in a relationship,” he said, per People.

“She moved back over to Europe, we kept in touch, and there were a couple of times I thought things were going to work out, and then she got engaged, and I was like, ‘Well, that’s done,’” the NFL player said.

According to Rodgers, he was “emotionally unavailable, I think, for those seven or eight years because I met the person that had changed my life.”

“And after that, I just poured everything I had into football, and I think I got a lot out of that for sure, but I knew I was supposed to be with this one person, but we were separated by an ocean for a lot of it,” he explained.

Eventually, Rodgers and Brittani reconciled, with Rodgers revealing in June 2025 that he had been married for “a couple months.”

During his “Not Just Football” podcast appearance, Rodgers hit back at speculation that Brittani, who has yet to be seen in public with Rodgers, doesn’t exist.

“I don’t f***ing care about any of that,” he said.
