Alex Rodriguez and girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro have broken up after more than three years together.

“To clarify, Alex and I are currently taking some time apart but there continues to be mutual love, care, and deep respect between us and for our families,” the bodybuilder told TMZ in a statement Thursday.

“We remain supportive of one another, and there is absolutely no animosity, drama, or negative story here,” she added.

Cordeiro shared with the outlet that she is also “navigating a serious health matter involving a family member at this time,” which is where her focus lies.

“Alex and I continue to be very close, and out of respect for everyone involved especially our daughters and loved ones I’d kindly ask that any reporting reflects the compassion and privacy this situation deserves,” she concluded.

A source close to the former couple clarified that Rodriguez, 50, and Cordeiro, 46, called it quits two months ago.

The former New York Yankees player and the personal trainer were first romantically linked in 2022, when Page Six exclusively reported the pair were “enjoying spending time” together.

A few weeks later, the duo went Instagram official while spending the holidays together in New York City.

“From our hearts to yours, Merry Christmas,” Rodriguez captioned a happy snap of himself and Cordeiro, adding the hashtags “family,” “joy” and “grateful.”

The following year, the former athlete revealed he shed more than 30 pounds with the help of his girlfriend’s fitness program.

“Look, she’s been incredible for me and for Cynthia,” Rodriguez gushed to Us Weekly of his and his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis’ weight loss transformation in 2023.

“[Jac is] the only person that can come into co-parents and make us both better. Cynthia has got in incredible shape following the JacFit program, [and] I’ve lost 32 pounds following her program,” he said.

The former MLB star explained that Cordeiro was so “caring” because she used to be a nurse.

“I see what she’s done in my life, with my health [and with] Cynthia to name a few. She comes at it from a very proactive [place] and helps you get in tremendous shape so you don’t have to hopefully be sick and prevent any type of health issues,” he added.

Rodriguez and Scurtis were married from 2002 to 2008. She filed for divorce, citing “emotional abandonment” of their children and infidelity as the reasons for the breakdown of their marriage.

The exes share daughters Natasha, 21, and Ella, 18.

Prior to his romamnce with Cordeiro, Rodriguez dated model Kathryne Padgett and was engaged to Grammy winner Jennifer Lopez.
