Ben Stiller’s Daughter Ella Appears on ‘And Just Like That’: Breaking Down Her Role on the Show

Ben Stiller’s daughter, Ella Stiller, is making her parents proud with her latest acting role on And Just Like That.
Christine Taylor, who welcomed Ella with Ben in 2002, first gushed about her daughter’s role on the HBO Max series in March 2025.
“She got a chance to work with everybody,” Taylor said of Ella’s acting gig during an appearance on Kristin Davis’ “Are You a Charlotte?” podcast.
Taylor went on to say that being a part of the show was Ella’s “dream job.” Davis, who plays Charlotte York Goldenblatt, praised Ella for her impressive acting chops.
“You have raised an incredible human, but also so incredibly talented. She is going to be on And Just Like That with us,” she said. “She was such a joy.”

Who Does Ella Stiller Play on ‘And Just Like That’?
Ella portrays a character named Mia who gets pregnant by Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and ex Steve Brady’s (David Eigenberg) son, Brady (Niall Cunningham). During a dinner with his mom and dad, Brady reveals that he and Mia only hooked up a couple of times. Miranda and Steve are shocked by the baby news, leading Brady to storm out when Steve makes threats of violence toward his son.
Breaking Down Ella Stiller’s 1st ‘And Just Like That’ Scene
Miranda decides to visit the hair salon in which Mia works to talk to her about the pregnancy and whether or not she wants Brady in the baby’s life. She brings Charlotte with her for emotional support.
Mia appears with her baby bump on full display and apologizes for having a lot of gas amid her pregnancy. Initially, Miranda does not disclose to Mia that she is Brady’s mom. It’s only when Mia calls Brady her “f*** buddy” that Miranda reveals her true identity while Mia is washing her hair. Mia is upset by Miranda’s deception and sprays her face with water.
Miranda apologizes to Mia for showing up to interrogate her about the baby and says that she wishes to get to know the “little boy or girl” once the baby is born.
“Little boy or girl? You’re so binary,” Mia responds as she walks away while passing gas.
Ella Stiller’s Other Acting Roles
Ella voiced a character in 2010’s Megamind. She made her onscreen debut in her father’s film Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb in 2014. Additionally, she’s appeared in Escape at Dannemora, Hubie Halloween, Fork, Knife, & Chainsaw, Friday and Happy Gilmore 2. Ella is also starring in the off-Broadway play Dilaria.
Ben Stiller Shared His Thoughts on His Kids’ Acting Careers
Prior to Ella’s And Just Like That debut, Ben opened up about his kids’ acting ventures. The Severance producer also shares son Quinlin Stiller with Christine.
“Both my kids are actors and not really kids anymore,” he told E! News in November 2024. “And they’re both really good, so it’d be fun to work with them. I have done a couple of little things with them, but I’d love to. It’d be really fun.”
He added, “I think eventually they’ll probably be directing and producing stuff that I’ll be asking them to cast me in. That’s how it goes.”
