Bethenny Frankel threatens to ‘throw down’ against impatient traveler in airport tirade

Bethenny Frankel threatened to “throw down” against an impatient traveler who tried to “plow” past her in line at the airport.
The former “Real Housewives of New York City” star took to Instagram over the weekend to recount an experience she had with another person while waiting to board her flight with her 15-year-old daughter, Bryn Hoppy.
“You know what my favorite thing is at the airport? When you have to lean down to get something and there’s like — maybe you have to get your driver’s license — and there’s a big line, but you are four inches behind that person, and the person behind you decides to just plow past you just to get one spot ahead of you,” she said in the clip.
“Bryn looks over and I look over to the woman and I go, ‘Hi. Is everything OK?’” Frankel shared. “Like, she thought she was going to plow past me just because I made the big mistake of kneeling down to get my boarding pass.”
The New York Times bestselling author, 54, declared that “people are hostile at the airport.” However, she was more than willing to take the interaction to a physical level.
“Once in a while, you’re like, ‘Yeah, it’s that kinda morning. I’ll throw down.’ I look at Bryn, I go, ‘I will throw down,’” she said.
“The woman is like, ‘Is that your bag?’ I’m like, “It is. Is everything OK? Are we gonna be OK?’”
She later admitted, “People are a little hostile. Myself included.”
Fans took to the comments section to share their reactions to Frankel’s airport drama.
“These airport stories might need to be a series regular. They are absolutely hysterical! 😂,” suggested one user.
“People have just lost all self awareness! They think they are the only one who matters! Society is sick! And not the good sick 😂,” added another.
“It’s so frickin’ rude. People have LOST their minds and their manners! We are all getting on the same flight so pack your patience people! 🙄,” said a third person.
“It’s like an Olympic sport navigating an airport these days 😂,” commented a fourth netizen.
Last week, Frankel shared why she chooses to fly commercial instead of private.
“Like with everything else, I don’t mind spending money, but I never waste money,” she said in a TikTok video Aug. 14.
“I don’t waste food. I’m in a brand new gorgeous house, good enough for major design magazines to want to cover, but about 40 percent of it is pieces I had in my former home,” the Skinnygirl founder added.
“I believe in highs and lows, like like with clothing. I don’t need to flex. I don’t need it to be a label.”
Frankel also said taking a “gigantic plane” with two pilots for just two passengers is “wasteful.”
“I don’t believe that just because you can, you should. That’s my philosophy,” she declared.
