‘Big Brother 28’ star Rome Seymour reacts to Lyric ‘flirting’ with Kamu

Rome Seymour isn’t the jealous type.

The “Big Brother 28” star exclusively told Page Six that he’s unbothered by his showmance partner, Lyric Medeiros, “flirting” with new Head of Household (HoH), Kamu Kirk, after his eviction.

“I told her before I left, ‘You have to use your cute damsel in distress presence to really get in good graces with the other side of the house, because these guys will eat this ‘hero idea’ for lunch,’” Seymour, 28, explained.

“She’s so smart, and she’s so good at being that cutesy, lovey-dovey self,” he added.

The pickleball coach insisted that the “flirting stuff does not bother [him] in any capacity” because he knows Medeiros “is playing a game.”

He also pointed out that, during Sunday’s episode, Medeiros made it clear she’s still devoted to their relationship.

“She’s like, ‘I love Rome. But I have to play the heck out of this game,’” Seymour said. “And I support that 100 percent.”

In addition, Seymour confirmed he’s not upset with Medeiros for joining the rest of the house — minus Taylor Brown — in voting him out.

“I told Lyric beforehand, ‘Whatever you have to do to get in the good graces of that other half of the house and be present there, I want you to do [it], and if that means it’s going to be a landslide, and you know I’m going to lose, I not going to get upset if I’m voted out by you,’” he explained.

However, Seymour admitted that he was caught off guard when the voting results came in.

“When I heard 12-1, I was like, ‘OK, maybe she threw my advice out the window and voted for me anyway,’” he said.

“Then I heard it was Taylor and I was like, you know what, Taylor’s always been 10 toes down, loyal to the cause. She was one of the first people that said, ‘Hey, I got your back.’ And I told her the same thing when she went on the block.”

Despite his eviction, Seymour told us he’s been keeping up with all the drama on the live feeds — including Jason De Puy’s fight with Kirk on Monday night.

“It’s almost exactly what happened to me on nomination night the other day,” Seymour explained. “I think Jason handled himself really well. I think he’s a great player. I just wish I could be there to stand with him and really show him he’s got support.”

“Big Brother 28” airs every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and is available to stream the next day on Paramount+.
