Brian Austin Green makes candid confession about his sex drive

Brian Austin Green admitted his sex drive has decreased with age.

The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum, 53, made the confession while answering a listener’s email question on the iHeartRadio’s “I Do, Part 2” podcast episode that dropped Saturday.

“‘As men age, do you notice that your sex drive is lowering?’ Sure, absolutely, of course,” Green responded. “That is a chemical thing. That is testosterone. That is what men, as they age, start naturally losing.”

He added, “You can take supplements and you can, you know, go the opposite direction. But, to me, honestly, absolutely. Sex drive lowers. There’s no way to avoid that. I didn’t ask for it.”

Green noted that as males get older, sex takes on a different meaning.

“It’s not just the physical act the same way,” he explained. “It’s the connection.”

Last month, Green — who’s been engaged to former “Dancing With the Stars” pro Sharna Burgess, 41, since July 2023 — said sex had “absolutely” gotten better with age.

“I am way less concerned with how I feel in it and my own insecurities and I’m way more concerned about how she feels and that I’m doing things that she truly likes,” he explained on the “I Do, Part 2” podcast. “And I’m also not doing things she doesn’t like.”

Green was previously married to Megan Fox, 40, from 2010 to 2021. They share three children together — Noah, 13, Bodhi, 12, and Journey, 10.

He acknowledged on the “I Do, Part 2” podcast last month that his marriage to the “Jennifer’s Body” actress was led by physical attraction.

“My ex and I were together for almost 15 years,” he shared. “We were married for almost 10 years. I led with physical attraction.”

He admitted that he gravitated toward being “physically attracted to somebody and then sort of build a relationship around that,” which he said he wanted to change when they broke up and he started dating as a divorced dad.

“I think when you started from a place of a genuine connection with someone, then you’re not so concerned about whether they are truly into you or not,” he said about his desire to be friends first before dating.

He went on to share that he and Burgess “put it all on the table” when they got together, being very upfront with each other about their best and worst qualities.

“Your approach to a relationship is the best way to know if it’s just a purely physical connection,” Green reflected.

“That’s only going to last for so long [before] you’re going to get to a point where you go, ‘I can’t stand that other person. So they’re not hot to me anymore.’”

Burgess and Green welcomed their 4-year-old son, Zane, in June 2022. He also shares a son with his ex Vanessa Marcil, 24-year-old Kassius.
