Britney Spears denies having a ‘breakdown’ at Chateau Marmont, may need surgery on injured foot

Don’t hold Britney Spears’ hotel drama against her.

The Princess of Pop denied having a “breakdown” at the Chateau Marmont last week in a lengthy Instagram message shared Monday.

“I honestly wish my life was as wild as it has been portrayed !!!” the singer, 42, wrote alongside a video of herself horseback riding. “Either way, some s–t actually has happened to my foot and I might have to get surgery … fingers crossed, hopefully not.”

The performer went on to write that she felt “harassed and gaslit and tricked to go on the street” early Thursday morning when her “car was supposed to be there.”

She addressed photographs of boyfriend Paul Richard Soliz and herself outside of the luxe hotel in West Hollywood, Calif., as she appeared distressed and covered up with a pillow.

“I was in my pajamas and yes, I had been crying because I hurt my foot !!!” Spears claimed. “No breakdown !!! I’m a grown ass woman who is actually very naive in most situations !!! I am simply embarrassed they got me in my damn pajamas !!!”

The dancer concluded, “I don’t feel loved … I feel mistreated !!! With that said, I’m going to treat myself this week !!!”

Sources told Page Six Thursday that Spears and Soliz, 37, got into an altercation, which resulted in an ambulance arriving to the hotel.

The songwriter denied getting into a fight with the handyman in a social media rant Thursday, alleging that her swollen foot — which she showed in the video — came from a “fall.”

She also connected her mother, Lynne Spears, to the drama without providing an explanation.

Lynne, 69, made headlines the following day for flying to Los Angeles and confirming to paparazzi that she will support her eldest child “no matter what.”

She was picked up by son Bryan Spears, who has remained mostly amicable with Britney over the years.

Britney has been romantically linked to Soliz since her 2023 divorce from Sam Asghari, which was recently finalized.

The handyman’s ex-wife, Nicole Mancilla, alleged to the Daily Mail Monday that Soliz is a “deadbeat dad” and “doesn’t support any” of his 10 children,” five of whom he shares with her.

Spears, for her part, is the mother of sons Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden, 17, who moved to Hawaii with dad Kevin Federline last year.
