Brittany Cartwright Is ‘Thriving’ in a Swimsuit After Sharing Weight Loss Update Amid GLP-1 Journey

Brittany Cartwright is enjoying her summer.

Cartwright, 37, took to Instagram on Thursday, July 23, to show off her swimsuit style while taking a dip in her pool. In the pic, she rocked a white one-piece featuring a plunging neckline and thick straps. The Valley star accessorized with diamond earrings.

For glam, Cartwright went makeup-free and twisted her highlighted mane into a neat bun. She enjoyed her pool day with her son Cruz, 5, whom she shares with her estranged husband Jax Taylor.

“Thriving 😌🩷,” Cartwright captioned the post.

Her swim moment comes days after she opened up about her weight-loss journey via Instagram on Monday, July 20. In the social media clip, she showed a side-by-side pic of her transformation.

“I’m already down two dress sizes. I saw all the body-shaming comments about me but instead of pissing me off, they made me motivated,” she said while narrating the post.

Cartwright continued, “Everyone knows I was using GLP-1s and everybody was using Fridays. I was so worried that if it didn’t work for me, what was I going to do? I kept with it! I kept going. And after month three, I could tell that the weight was starting to fall off.”

Cartwright gushed that once she reached her milestone, she “felt amazing.”

“I’m in the dressing room at the [Valley] reunion, I’m sparking all over the place and finally starting to feel like myself again,” she exclaimed.

“I finally got my sparkle back!” Cartwright captioned the post. “I’m already down two dress sizes, and summer is just getting started! Everyone I knew was having success with GLP-1s, and they were all getting results with @joinfridays. I figured it was time to start, and I’m so glad I did.”

She continued in the comments section, “For anyone wondering, I’ve lost 20 lbs since my mommy makeover that happened in October. I started with Fridays long after my surgery, so the weight loss happened afterward.”

Cartwright explained, “Mommy makeover boosted my confidence and losing weight has made me feel amazing and so much more confident. They are 2 different things. ❤️.”
