Brittany Cartwright Shares Results of ‘Mommy Makeover’ Surgery: ‘Still Swollen but Doing Amazing’

Brittany Cartwright continues to recover from her recent extensive “mommy makeover” surgery, where she underwent multiple procedures in one day.

“Almost 3 weeks postop! I’m feeling a little sore and still swollen but I’m doing amazing and getting better everyday! 🥰,” The Valley star, 36, wrote in an Instagram caption alongside her a bathroom selfie. The Special Forces competitor underwent an abdominal reconstruction, tummy tuck, liposuction, and changed her breast implants to a smaller size, explaining at the time it was “something I’ve wanted to do for years and I finally took the step for me. I couldn’t be happier.”

As she shared in her post, “I’m so happy with my decision, do whatever makes you happy with your own body and lift other women up always! Everyone may not take the route I chose and I truly believe a woman’s body is incredible no matter what and deserves all the love! 🩷🩷.”

Fellow reality stars shared their support, like The Valley costar and friend, Kristen Doute, who commented, “i said DAYUMMMMMM ❤️‍🔥💕 so sparkly inside and out.”

Cartwright, who shares son Cruz, 4, with her ex-husband Jax Taylor, 46, has previously said that her ex mocked her appearance, especially after the birth of their child. 

“This man degraded me, put me down, body-shamed me constantly,” she shared on a reunion episode of The Valley. “Literally called me a tree trunk because I had stretch marks.”

After another cast member told him to apologize, Taylor responded, “I am very sorry about all of this.”
