Brooks Nader Blocked Sister Grace Ann After Revealing Romance with Carlos Alcaraz: ‘She Didn’t Speak to Me for A While’

Brooks Nader had to block her sister Grace Ann Nader for spilling the news that she was dating tennis player Carlos Alcaraz.

During a recent episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, 25-year-old Grace Ann was joined by her sisters Mary Holland Nader and Sarah Jane Nader as the siblings gave a life update after wrapping season 1 of Love Thy Nader.

“She blocked me,” Grace Ann admitted to host Amanda Hirsch, while discussing how the 28-year-old model reacted to having her dating life made public. 

According to the Nader sisters, they were making their rounds on the red carpet at the Raising Cane’s New York Fashion Week Show on Sept. 10 when a reporter from E! News asked the ladies if Brooks was seeing anyone special. 

“Dating is such a loose term. But I do know he’s the man of the hour,” Grace Ann told the outlet of her older sibling’s involvement with the 22-year-old professional Spanish tennis player.

Sarah Jane attempted to help Grace Ann out during the podcast interview by saying Grace Ann was “hungover” when she outed Brooks and Alcaraz. However, Grace Ann said she was not, adding that there was “no excuse” for the mistake.

Grace Ann also said she originally thought it was okay to share the detail because “the E! News girl goes, your sister said you could answer this.”

Mary Holland confirmed that she and the sisters who were present were the one who gave the okay for the reporter to ask Grace Ann, not Brooks. 

“So I took it as permission to answer,” Grace Ann said. 

Grace Ann, who says she has “no filter,” also said the red carpet slip-up happened because “it’s hard for me to pretend like I don’t see things or hear things or witness things firsthand.”

They joked that she can’t help being “an honest girl” when being asked direct questions.

“And the funniest part is that I truly thought I was being discreet and like sly and keeping [it in check] by saying he’s the man of the hour, but I can’t confirm dating,” Grace Ann explained.  

“I thought I was being so discreet and then I was like, ‘killed it, crushed it.’” 

However, Grace Ann quickly found out just how wrong she was about how her sister would feel.

“I get in the car for my next Fashion Week event. Phone’s blowing up and I was like, ‘Holy s—,” she said.

Grace Ann also had a more immediate way of dealing with the consequences of her actions. “I just put my phone away,” she said.

The younger sister later admitted that “she didn’t speak to me for a while,” until the siblings had a television appearance on one of Andy Cohen’s shows. 

When asked if they thought Brooks might ever make them sign an NDA [non-disclosure agreement], the sisters joked that it’d never happen, and “there’s worse things” that could have been leaked.
