Charlize Theron wears see-through plastic skirt for ‘The Odyssey’ press in Seoul
The Odyssey? More like the Odys-see-through.
Charlize Theron layered a clear vinyl skirt over sheer stockings and a lace slip for the film’s Seoul press conference on Monday.
The 50-year-old actress pulled her look from Tom Ford’s fall 2026 collection — designer Haider Ackermann’s latest for the house — right down to a pair of opera-length black leather gloves.
“Calypso finally leaves the island… and lands in Seoul ❤️,” she captioned an Instagram carousel of the ensemble.
She paired the leather-trimmed wrap skirt with a crisp blue striped button-down and pointed patent stiletto pumps.
Ackermann described his fall 2026 collection as “a language … of seduction” in his show notes, highlighting its contrasts: “Hard and soft. Sharp and cocooning.”
Theron stars as the sea nymph Calypso opposite Matt Damon’s Odysseus in Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s epic, which hit theaters July 17.
The transparent moment is the latest in a bold global press tour that’s included a slinky Louis Vuitton chain dress in Beijing, barely-there Tom Ford tap shorts in Paris and plunging lace gowns by Dior and Givenchy by Sarah Burton.
Longtime stylist Leslie Fremar has dressed Theron throughout, threading winks to her character into her looks.
The Oscar winner made headlines during the London leg with a candid remark about Damon’s physique, admitting she’d been “looking at his ass” after seeing her co-star “without all of that suit on” during filming.
She also posed in nothing but diamond earrings in a getting-ready Instagram post ahead of the world premiere.
