Chuck Norris put fighting skills on display in final Instagram post days before death
Chuck Norris celebrated his “good health” in his final Instagram post, shared just days before his shocking death.
The mixed martial artist put his fighting skills on display in the March 10 video celebrating his 86th birthday.
“I don’t age,” the legendary actor told his followers at the time. “I level up.”
He continued, “I’m 86 today! Nothing like some playful action on a sunny day to make you feel young. I’m grateful for another year, good health and the chance to keep doing what I love.
“Thank you all for being the best fans in the world,” Norris concluded. “Your support through the years has meant more to me than you’ll ever know.”
In a comment, the “Missing in Action” star thanked fans for their “wonderful birthday wishes.”
News broke Thursday that Norris had been rushed to the hospital over a medical emergency on the island of Kauai in Hawaii.
TMZ reported he was in good spirits after the incident — the nature of which remains unclear.
Norris’ family revealed his “sudden passing” in a lengthy social media statement the following day.
While wishing to “keep the circumstances private,” Norris’ loved ones clarified “that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace.”
They wrote, “To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family.
“While our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the life he lived and for the unforgettable moments we were blessed to share with him.”
This is a developing story…
