Dave Chappelle has lewd take on Travis Kelce’s bachelor party ahead of Taylor Swift wedding
Dave Chappelle said he was “shocked” that Travis Kelce chose to attend the comedian’s show as part of the athlete’s bachelor party festivities.
“I was shocked. I had never seen anything like that,” the comedian recalled via a Zoom interview on CNN’s “Independence Eve Live” on Friday.
“A w—eless bachelor party? Whatever makes you happy, Travis,” Chappelle, 52, quipped.
The “Chapelle Show” alum then joked about not getting an invite to the Kansas City Chiefs star’s star-studded wedding to Taylor Swift at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
“I heard he was getting married at Madison Square Garden. You would think I could have got an invite, but I didn’t,” he shared.
“I didn’t make the 15,000 closest friends,” he joked to hosts Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper.
Here’s latest on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at MSG:
The “Watch What Happens Live” host jokingly replied: “It looks like the three of us are the only three people [who didn’t go].
“The three of us are the only ones not invited,” Cohen, 58, added.
Last month, Travis, along with his brother, Jason Kelce, and a few of his close friends, celebrated the tight end’s bachelor festivities on the West Coast.
Aside from attending one of Chappelle’s comedy shows, they also watched a NASCAR race at Naval Base Coronado in San Diego and enjoyed a night out at Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles.
The three-time Super Bowl champ, 36, and his pals also partied at a Chris Lake concert in LA. At one point during the party, Travis hopped on stage next to the DJ, 43, and shot a bubble gun into the crowd.
On Friday, the NFL star and Swift, also 36, tied the knot in a ceremony officiated by comedian Adam Sandler on July 3 in front of 1,000 guests.
Per a press release, the “Bad Blood” singer and her husband wore Christian Dior Haute Couture to exchange vows.
Taylor enlisted her brother, Austin Swift, as her “Man of Honor,” while Travis recruited his brother, Jason, to be his “Best Man.”
Sir Paul McCartney reportedly serenaded the newlyweds with the 1963 Beatles hit “I Want to Hold Your Hand.”
