Emma Stone Puts a Red Carpet Spin on the Crop Top in Flirty Abs-Baring Look at Golden Globes 2026
NEED TO KNOW
- Emma Stone dared to bare at the 2026 Golden Globes
- The actress, nominated for Bugonia, wore a Louis Vuitton two-piece that showed her midriff and belly button
- Stone also debuted a new hair color on her growing bob, done by celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham
Emma Stone and her abs were greeted warmly at the 2026 Golden Globes.
The actress, 37, arrived at the star-studded carpet on Jan. 11 in a look that was so good, we’re finding it hard to find just one thing that was great about it.
Stone, nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her work in Bugonia, dared to bare in a butter yellow Louis Vuitton two-piece made of a sleeveless tank top with a short hem that put her toned abs and belly button on display. A beaded fringe skirt hanging right above her hips also added a playful element to the already fun ensemble — as did her perfectly styled bob.
For the big night, Stone sat in the chair of celeb-loved stylist Tracey Cunningham for what is now known as her fresh “soft auburn” hairstyle. According to a press release, Stone’s new color was done with the Schwarzkopf Professional’s Igora Vibrance line to achieve a high-gloss, luminous finish. The change reflected Stone’s request to go a tad darker than her usually brown-red hue. Hairstylist Mara Roszak was in charge of getting her short haircut to lie just right at her chin.
In an interview with Vogue, Stone said that growing out her hair after going bald for Bugonia “has been unexpectedly very fun.”

“The first three months were the hardest part because I wore a beanie constantly. It was very short and buzzed, and I found it just kind of boring to always be wearing a beanie. But once it got to pixie length, from then on, it’s been a really fun process. You get to try so many different styles.”
At least year’s Golden Globes, Stone made a splash with said pixie cut, pairing the daring style with a red Louis Vuitton mermaid gown that took over 200 hours to make.
In terms of flashing skin and making sexy in again, Stone wasn’t alone.
Alongside her pushing the agenda for “naked” fashion was Jennifer Lawrence, who turned heads in a nearly see-through Givenchy gown covered in floral embroidery (and a look that appeared uncannily familiar to Beyoncé’s barely there dress from the 2015 Met Gala). Teyana Taylor also flashed a cheeky view in her custom Schiaparelli floor-length gown, which came with cutouts in the bodice and a built-in bedazzled thong!
Jennifer Lopez, who recently clapped back at criticism of her dressing too sexy for 56, further doubled down on her seductive style in a Jean Louis Scherrer Haute Couture 2003 mermaid dress covered in sheer fabric that, of course, showed off her toned figure.
