‘Friends’ alum Lauren Tom reveals daughter’s bone cancer diagnosis

“Friends” alum Lauren Tom revealed her 25-year-old daughter Ellie has brain cancer.

The actress shared the “tough news” about her daughter’s health on Sunday in an Instagram post with multiple photos of Ellie.

“She is currently battling osteosarcoma, (bone cancer) and my family and I are doing everything we can to aid in her healing,” Tom, 64, wrote.

The “Supernatural” star thanked their “friends and family, and the incredible doctors and nurses at @cedarssinai for their ongoing boundless support, love, and care.”

“It is truly humbling to see how willing people are to reach out and help,” she added.

Tom praised Ellie for being “an amazing, deep, sensitive, wise, strong, brave, intelligent, and funny soul,” before noting that they have “a long journey ahead.”

At the end of her message, Tom asked her followers to pray for Ellie’s “complete recovery” and show support by leaving a comment on her post, or on Ellie’s IG account.

“Thank you so much for reading and for your support,” Tom concluded.

The voice actress also shared a supportive message on Ellie’s most recent Instagram post.

“You are strong, brave and will recover from this completely to live a beautiful, meaningful life,” she wrote. “You are so loved, Ellie, by everyone who knows you.”

Tom shares Ellie and son Leo with her husband, actor Curt Kaplan, whom she married in 1999.

Tom famously played Ross’ girlfriend, Julie, on Season 2 of “Friends” in 1995 and 1996.

Her other notable TV roles include the ABC shows “Grace Under Fire” and “Men in Trees,” and the Disney Channel series “Andi Mack.”

In animation, Tom has voiced roles in “Futurama,” “King of the Hill,” “Teen Titans Go!” and more.
