Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Share Sweet Photos to Celebrate 3rd Wedding Anniversary: ‘It Has Always Been You’

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are celebrating three years of being “Happy Anywhere.”
On Wednesday, July 3, the “Hollaback Girl” singer and the country star celebrated their three-year wedding anniversary with sweet tribute posts on Instagram.
Shelton, 48, shared a selfie with Stefani, 54, and captioned the post: “Happy anniversary @gwenstefani! I love you!!!!!!!”
The “Just a Girl” artist shared a series of photos from their wedding at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch.
“July 3, 2021 ♥️ it has always been you 🥰,” she captioned the post.
Stefani and Shelton tied the knot in a backyard chapel on his ranch and were joined by an intimate group of 40 of their close friends and family members, including Stefani’s sons, Kingston, 18, Zuma, 15, and Apollo, 10,
The pair started dating in 2015 and got engaged in October 2020. Since then, they’ve collaborated on hit songs like “Happy Anywhere,” “Nobody but You,” “You Make Me Feel Like Christmas” and “Purple Irises.”
In June, Stefani celebrated Shelton’s birthday with a video compilation of their sweetest moments set to their duet, “Purple Irises.”
She wrote “happy bday to the greatest, @blakeshelton 🤍 u are my everything !!,” alongside videos of their time on The Voice together, outdoors enjoying nature and performing onstage.
In May, the couple hit the stage at the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards and performed a sweet, upbeat rendition of their duet “Purple Irises,” which they released in February and debuted live at the Super Bowl LVIII TikTok Tailgate event.
In a cover story interview with NYLON in April, the “Cool” hitmaker opened up about overcoming her own self-doubt while writing the duet.
On the day Stefani wrote “Purple Irises,” she was dealing with “insecurities” she felt about her marriage and experienced anxieties about getting back in the studio.
“I had been going through those times where you’re questioning: ‘Oh my gosh, am I just getting older? Am I cute?’” she told the outlet. “In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what’s happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen. I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid.”
“It’s an insecurity we both have,” Shelton said. “These are conversations that she and I have with each other: ‘Are you still going to love me when I’m old or if I forget who I am?’”
“The truth is I am in love with my best friend,” Stefani added, “and all this s— I’m thinking of in my brain, that’s all it is — I’m overthinking.”
