Inside Bettina Anderson’s relationship with Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife Vanessa and future stepkids

Bettina Anderson has won over Donald Trump Jr.’s family.

A source exclusively told Page Six that the Palm Beach socialite, 39, has formed a close bond not only with Don Jr.’s eldest daughter, Kai Trump, 19, but also his ex-wife, Vanessa Trump, 48.

“Kai really likes Bettina and gets along with her well,” the insider said. “Kai and Bettina have made TikToks in the past and always have a lot of fun together.”

The source added that while Kai has spent the most time with Anderson so far, his other children are still getting to know her.

“Bettina befriended Vanessa before she even got to know Don,” the insider told Page Six. “Vanessa thinks Bettina and Don are a great match and fully approves of their relationship.”

According to the source, Don Jr., 48, and Anderson “spend most of their time in Palm Beach,” adding, “she would love to spend more time in D.C. with his family. However, Don’s kids are based in Florida, so that’s where they plan on staying.”

Reps for Don Jr., Vanessa and Anderson did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

Don Jr. and Anderson got engaged in December 2025 after a year of dating.

At the time, President Donald Trump announced at the White House that his eldest son and the socialite are engaged, according to a video Laura Loomer published on X.

“I’m not usually at a loss for words, because I’m usually doing the ranting and raving really well,” Don Jr. said during the announcement. “I want to thank Bettina for that one word: ‘Yes.’”

Anderson then offered her own remarks, saying, “This has been the most unforgettable weekend. I get to marry the love of my life, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Thank you.”

Don Jr. was previously married to ex-wife Vanessa for 12 years before she filed for divorce in 2018. They share five children: Kai, Donald III, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11.

In 2018, Don Jr. began dating former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle. The pair got engaged in Dec. 2020 and called it quits four years later.

As previously reported, Don Jr. and Anderson have seemingly put their nuptials on hold with the war in Iran dragging on longer than expected.

“They’re very aware that a lavish wedding at the White House while people are dying wouldn’t be well-received,” a source told Page Six. “Especially after the state dinner for King Charles — it would be too much pomp and circumstance.”

“Don was fully supportive of the bridal shower and the bachelorette party — he wants everyone to know he adores her and that they plan to get married,” added the source, “But they want to make sure the timing is right politically before actually setting a date.”

As for Vanessa, Page Six reported in March 2025 that she has been dating Tiger Woods.

Woods is currently in treatment after a DUI arrest in March.
