Jana Kramer Says Selling Sunset’s Jason Oppenheim Asked Her Out, Claims ‘He Flirts with Everyone’

Jana Kramer is recalling the time one of her podcast guests got a little extra flirty with her.  

During a Nov. 26 episode of her Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast, the One Tree Hill alum, 42, brought up Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim after she was asked if there had ever been an “unexpectedly flirty podcast guest” on the show.

While it took her a moment to jog her memory, she quickly recalled the funny encounter she shared with the Oppenheim Group president, who appeared on her show back in 2022.

“Jason Oppenheim,” she remembers. “He flirts with everyone. I love you Jason, but he flirts with everyone.”

After referring to him as a “sweetheart,” she then reveals after a pause, “But he did ask me out, that’s true. See I blanked that out.”

She continued the tale by clarifying that he was very “respectful” with the way he went about it. 

“He is so respectful, that’s the thing,” she says. “Like we even had lunch with a friend — I was introducing him to our realtor friend — and he’s such a sweet man.”

During his appearance on her show in 2022, Oppenheim and Kramer discussed the aftermath of his relationship with his Selling Sunset costar Chrishell Stause. 

While fans were excited to get an inside look at their romance on the Netflix reality series, the real estate pros ended up announcing their split in December 2021 after five months of dating. 

Oppenheim is currently in a relationship with Jessica Vargas, who is also an O Group agent. Stause has been with her partner, Australian singer G Flip, since 2022

Oppenheim and Vargas confirmed their relationship on the red carpet for The Accountant 2 in April, and a few days later, they made their romance Instagram official with photos of them hiking in the desert.

Meanwhile, Kramer previously spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about why she prefers to keep details about her marriage to Allan Russell private.  

“I’m definitely an oversharer, but I think what I’ve learned differently, this go around, especially with our relationship, we’re not as open as I would open up previously,” she told PEOPLE in September.

“I think it’s important to not share so much, so I’ve learned the lesson with that, to let some of our private life be private,” she added.

Russell and Kramer tied the knot in July 2024 after welcoming their first child together, son Roman, in November 2023.

Kramer was previously married to Mike Caussin from 2015 to 2021, and the exes share two children together: daughter Jolie, 9, and son Jace, 6.
