Jax Taylor breaks silence on romance with ex Brittany Cartwright’s publicist

Jax Taylor is officially “taken.”

The “Vanderpump Rules” star confirmed the news via Instagram Wednesday, in the comments section of his shirtless pool pic promoting Smartwater.

“Surprised you haven’t got your own show yet. Or the next Bachelor, lol,” one fan wrote, to which Taylor responded, “No thanks I am taken,” alongside a red heart emoji.

A rep for Taylor did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The comment comes just weeks after Taylor was spotted packing on the PDA with Lori Krebs, the longtime publicist of Taylor and his ex Brittany Cartwright.

In photos obtained by TMZ on July 13, the pair embraced in the pool at a resort in Puerto Vallarta. At one point, the two appeared to engage in an intimate chat while a shirtless Taylor wrapped his arms around Krebs.

A source subsequently told Page Six that Cartwright — who shares son Cruz, 5, with Taylor — learned of the PDA snaps shortly before they were published.

The mom of one, 37, was said to have felt “betrayed” by Krebs — more than by her own ex — as she “doesn’t expect much” from the former bartender.

“When the Jax-Lori rumors first started swirling two years ago, Brittany chose to believe Lori that nothing was going on,” the insider said earlier this month. “She continued to work with her and trust her, and this is how Lori repays her?”

Taylor and Krebs first sparked romance rumors in February 2024, after the pair posted selfies on their Instagram Stories, with one image showing Krebs planting a kiss on Taylor’s cheek. At the time, however, they denied rumors of a romantic connection.

Our source told us that after the steamy vacation photos were revealed, “there is no way” that Brittany “will continue working with [Krebs] at this point.”

Cartwright herself broke her silence on the drama on a recent episode of her “When Reality Hits” podcast.

“All I’m going to say about this at this moment is I will be speaking my truth — the truth — on this matter very soon whenever I’m ready,” she said.

The “Valley” star added, “As of right now, I am focusing on me and the most important thing in my life, which is my beautiful son.”

The Cupshe swimwear model announced her separation from Taylor, 47, in February 2024, several months before filing for divorce from him that August.
