Jax Taylor Photographed Looking Cozy With Publicist Who ‘No Longer’ Reps His Ex Brittany Cartwright (Exclusive)

Former Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor has been spotted cozying up with a publicist he once shared with his ex-wife, Brittany Cartwright.

An eyewitness exclusively tells Us Weekly that Taylor, 47, and Lori Krebs were seen visiting the Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, earlier this month – and Us has exclusive photos of the birthday getaway.

On Thursday, July 9, the duo were spotted in the resort’s pool hugging and showing PDA, per the eyewitness.

“At one point, a random woman at the pool was trying to give them relationship advice,” shares the eyewitness.

The eyewitness tells Us, “I asked him, ‘How long have they been married?’ And he said ‘we’re both happily divorced.’”

The twosome were also spotted at the pool the next two days, including Saturday, July 11 — Taylor’s 47th birthday.

“They had their arms wrapped around each other and looked very close,” says the eyewitness. “It seemed obvious that they were very much together.”

“That night they went to a Latin-themed party at the hotel and sat where no one could see them, but they didn’t stay long,” adds the eyewitness.

According to a source, Taylor and Krebs traveled abroad to celebrate two major milestones.

“Lori and Jax were celebrating his 1.5 year sober anniversary and 47th birthday with a group of people from his recovery center and some other friends,” says the source. “The group celebrated his birthday at an Italian restaurant at the hotel and then went to the rooftop for Latin night.”

Adds the source: “He’s in a really good place and is the happiest he’s ever been.”

Us Weekly has reached out to Taylor, Cartwright and Krebs for comment. TMZ was first to report the news and pointed out that the duo were in Puerto Vallarta with a larger group of friends.

Cartwright, 37, filed for divorce from Taylor in August 2024 after five years of marriage. The exes — who both had Krebs as their personal publicists throughout their marriage and at the time of their split — continue to coparent their 5-year-old son, Cruz.

Cartwright severed ties with Krebs once photos surfaced, a second source tells Us.

“Lori has always been loyal to Jax and has helped him get his life back on track,” says the second source.

This isn’t the first time the nature of Taylor and Krebs’ relationship has raised some eyebrows.

In February 2024, Taylor posted a selfie with his publicist that resulted in the internet questioning their status. He and Cartwright, however, quickly shut down any romance rumors.

“It was cracking me up how everyone was going crazy about that picture you posted with our publicist Lori,” Cartwright said on a Feb 2024 episode of the “When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany” podcast. “She’s our publicist and [a] very, very good friend of mine so a photo like that, people I know were saying a lot of crap about it, but it really wasn’t that big of a deal. I want to make that clear, because Lori’s an amazing publicist, a super hard worker and she does so much amazing work for us. I just want to make sure we clear that up because that’s just ridiculous.”

Since the photos in Mexico have gone public, Krebs has seemingly deleted her Instagram.
