Jenna Bush Hager reveals her kids’ brutal reaction to ‘White Lotus’-inspired haircut

Jenna Bush Hager’s kids are not happy with her new hair.

The “Today” show co-host filmed her little ones’ brutal reactions to the bob she had cut live on the NBC set Monday.

“What are you doing?” the journalist’s 9-year-old daughter, Poppy, asked when she saw her mom’s transformation.

“I don’t like it,” Mila, 12, chimed in, with 5-year-old Hal repeating her criticism.

Poppy subsequently asked Bush Hager “why [she would] do that” before throwing herself into a chair.

The “Today with Jenna & Friends” star showed the video to Leslie Bibb, whose “White Lotus” character, Kate Bohr, inspired the haircut, on Tuesday.

“Are those real?” the actress, 51, asked. “Your children are monsters. They’re monsters! They started crying.”

Bush Hager replied, “I know! It was sort of fake crying. I mean, that’s our love language.”

The former first daughter shares her children with husband Henry Hager, whom she has been married to since 2008.

The businessman, 47, “did like” his wife’s new look and defended her from one of their daughter’s insults by saying “the best thing.”

Hager told his partner that their child doesn’t “know fashion.”

He also remarked, “Damn, that’s hot,” which Bush Hager found “sweet.”

The NBC personality first spoke to Bibb about her hair on March as Season 3 of “White Lotus” played out.

“Jenna vowed to get on board with the bob, and today is the day,” Bibb told viewers on Monday.

Hairstylist Chris McMillan, who cut both Bibb and Bush Hager’s hair, said he hadn’t expected the look to go viral.

“The intention wasn’t to give her a bob, it was to grow her out into a bob,” he explained.

The style is known as the “c–ty little bob,” which is what Bibb called it in an Instagram video taken post-haircut and shared in March.

As for McMillan, he subsequently told Elle that it’s an “ear lobe bob” and “perfect for her character.”

His inspiration was “a picture of Patricia Arquette when she was doing press for ‘True Romance’” in 1993.

We’ll have to see if the chic ‘do continues to be the haircut of the summer.
