Jessie J reveals major update in cancer battle that left her ‘sobbing for hours’

Jessie J is cancer free, one year after revealing her breast cancer diagnosis.

The singer shared the major update in an Instagram reel Thursday, captioned, “‼️RESULTS ARE IN AND I AM CANCER FREE‼️ 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.

“I sobbed for hours and then exhaled for the first time in a year,” the “Price Tag” hitmaker continued.

In the social media upload, Jessie documented her annual checkup — and admitted to her followers she was “actually s–tting” herself.

“They told me there was no contrast, but I think there is based on this,” the Grammy nominee, 38, said as she showed the IV in her arm. “Gotta go in for my MRI. Pretend I’m not claustrophobic.”

After explaining that a breast MRI includes laying on your stomach and putting “your arms in the air like superman,” Jessie said, “Fingers crossed all good, all good.”

“Positive vibes,” she concluded — and then broke into Bob Marley’s “Don’t Worry About a Thing.” 

Jessie first announced her breast cancer diagnosis in June 2025.
