Kate Gosselin made a rare public appearance with her son Aaden ahead of the release of her estranged son Collin’s forthcoming memoir.

The “Jon & Kate Plus 8” alum and the 22-year-old were seen outside of their Troutman, North Carolina home on Thursday.

The mother-son duo was seen loading up a U-Haul parked in front.

Kate’s appearance comes as Collin has been teasing his memoir, “In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood,” which is set for release on Oct. 13.

In the book, the 22-year-old pledges to give readers an inside look at the “never-before-told story of how he escaped and found his way back from the dark.”

Traumatic storylines include how he was allegedly “being held down, the basement cell where he was hidden for years and the cocktail of powerful antipsychotics” he was forced to take at the age of 11.

The book cover features a photo of Kate, 51, placing her hand over Collin’s mouth while out with his sextuplet siblings — Aaden, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah.

Kate also shares 25-year-old twins Cara and Madelyn with her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, to whom she was married from 1999 to 2009.

Jon was notably granted sole custody of Collin in 2018, with Hannah also choosing to live with the patriarch.

Ahead of the book announcement, Collin has made damaging allegations of “child abuse and child exploitation” against Kate, claiming that he was once zip-tied and restrained in a basement ahead of his 2016 institutionalization.

Most recently, he has alleged that Kate “had to pray to God to stop hitting him” when he was a toddler.

Kate has denied the allegations and recently called Collin “mentally ill” via a TikTok comment defending her against the remarks.

“Sadly, only parents who have a mentally ill child understand!” she wrote.

Additionally, the TV personality has claimed that she’s unable to sue Collin because she’s a public figure and “malice is one of the hardest things to prove,” she wrote on social media.

“I consulted a high power LA attorney (you’ve definitely heard of him) years ago when other ppl were putting crazy stuff out there and that’s what he said.”
