Lala Kent’s ex, Randall Emmett, directed John Travolta’s latest film under the pseudonym ‘Ives’

Lala Kent’s ex-fiancé, movie producer Randall Emmett, is directing films under a pseudonym, Page Six has learned.
Emmett directed John Travolta’s latest project, “Cash Out,” under the sole name “Ives,” his middle name, according to our insider.
“He’s known as a producer, and he’s starting to do a lot of directing. He’s decided he’s going to direct going forward under the name Ives and produce under the name Randall Emmett,” the source said.
A rep for Emmett confirmed the name switch telling Page Six, “Randall made a creative decision to use his middle name, Ives, to distinguish himself as a director rather than a producer.”
Emmett became a regular on Kent’s show, “Vanderpump Rules,” and their engagement publicly blew up.
Perhaps the name change is his way of distancing himself from the various scandals that have played out since he became a household Bravo name?
The LA Times published some bombshell allegations in an expose of the film producer back in 2022.
Emmett blasted the piece as a takedown initiated by his “Vanderpump” ex, Kent.
“These allegations are false and part of a now-familiar smear campaign orchestrated by Randall’s ex-fiancée to sway their custody dispute,” his said via his rep, Sallie Hofmeister, at the time.
Kent did not comment on his accusations, but a source told Page Six, “This piece was clearly [done with] many, many sources over many, many months of reporting by the LA Times. Lala was a small part of this whole story. The article is really focused on Randall’s shady business practices for the last 10 years-plus.”
Either way, Emmett — we mean, Ives — has now directed the first “Cash Out” movie, and we hear there are two more scheduled for release.
Emmett was also one of the producers on Travolta’s film “Gotti,” along with Noel Ashman, who is an executive producer on “Cash Out” as well.
The first “Cash Out” film premieres on Friday, and the film also stars Kristen Davis, Quavo of rap group Migos, Lukas Haas and Natali Yura.
Meanwhile, “Cash Out 2” has already been shot and will be out in the fall, and a third film in the planned series is currently in development.
