‘Lucky bastard’ Scooter Braun gushes over Sydney Sweeney as couple takes major step in romance

They’re feeling euphoric.

Scooter Braun and Sydney Sweeney hard-launched their relationship with a black-and-white photo shared to their Instagram Stories this week.

On Wednesday, the actress, 28, posted the snap of her and the music mogul, 44, cuddled up close together at an event, adding a white heart emoji to the top of the pic.

For his part, Braun re-posted the image, writing beneath the couple posing, “Lucky bastard.”

The pair’s decision to go Instagram-official comes 10 months after they met at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in June 2025.

At the time, a source told Page Six that Braun was initially worried Sweeney was too young for him, but soon became “obsessed” and decided to pursue the actress.

Their romance quickly heated up, with Sweeney and Braun spending Labor Day weekend together in California and celebrating her 28th birthday the following month.

A source close to the couple explained to Page Six at the time that Braun “really, really likes her.”

“I can tell you that it’s very real and he’s very happy,” another insider shared.

Braun has since met Sweeney’s parents, and the two have only been getting closer since then.

“It’s not a casual relationship. It’s game on, it’s full throttle,” a source elaborated to Page Six.

Earlier this month, Braun supported Sweeney at the Season 3 premiere of “Euphoria” in Los Angeles.

In a Vanity Fair video posted via X, the HBO star could be seen grabbing the music executive’s face and planting a kiss on his lips while seated inside Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre.

Minutes before walking the red carpet solo, Sweeney shared a sweet moment with Braun.

In another X clip shared by the Hollywood Reporter, the “Housemaid” actress and the manager stepped out of their vehicle together and briefly held hands before going their separate ways.

Braun previously married mining heiress Yael Cohen, 39, in 2014. The former flames welcomed three kids before splitting in 2022.

For her part, Sweeney was engaged to businessman Jonathan Davino, 42, before the pair called it quits last spring due to “major issues” in their almost seven-year relationship.

While the “White Lotus” alum has kept tight-lipped about her new relationship, she did open up about what love feels like to her during a January interview with Cosmopolitan.

“You know in ‘The Princess Diaries’ when Anne Hathaway says that when she kisses the guy she knows she’s supposed to be with, her foot will flip up? That’s what love feels like,” she gushed. “The lights will magically turn on. The birds will start flying. The fountains start shooting water. Love is a Disney movie.”
