Matt Rife is taking his interest in the paranormal to a whole new level.

Rife revealed via a Friday, August 1, TikTok video that he recently purchased the home of Ed and Lorraine Warren, paranormal investigators who were based in Connecticut.

“If you know me, you know I’m obsessed with the paranormal and all things haunted,” he explained. “You also may know The Conjuring films are my favorite scary movies of all time. So I’m incredibly honored to have taken over one of the most prominent properties in paranormal history.”

Along with the house, which inspired The Conjuring movie franchise, Rife added that he will be “the legal guardian for at least the next 5 years, of the entire haunted collection including THE ANNABELLE DOLL.”

“I can only speak to my experiences with Annabelle,” said paranormal investigator Zak Bagans in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly on July 16.

“I did have the opportunity to investigate Annabelle when the owner brought her to my museum in 2017,” he told Us of the allegedly haunted Raggedy Ann doll, which is said to move on its own, leave messages on paper for its owners and change positions. “I got very affected by her and it kinda caused me to touch the doll. The owner didn’t like that too much.”
