Miley Cyrus considering eloping with fiancé Maxx Morando: report
Miley Cyrus’ second wedding might not be a “Party In The U.S.A.”-style event.
“She’s not super into the idea of doing another wedding,” a source told Us Weekly of Cyrus’ upcoming nuptials with fiancé Maxx Morando.
Cyrus, who was previously married to Liam Hemsworth for eight months before they separated in August 2019, “is really happy right now and in such a good, calm place.”
The “very low-key” couple will “definitely celebrate in their own way,” and are hoping to do “something fun and meaningful that feels very special to them.”
This time around, the “Wrecking Ball” singer, 33, is more focused on the “love” than the “whole production” of a wedding, the insider explained.
“They have talked about eloping and doing something very private with just the two of them. She is embracing this era being engaged and is not in a rush to plan anything.”
While Cyrus’ first wedding to Hemsworth was also on the “low-key” side, “she doesn’t necessarily want to be a ‘bride’ again or do anything traditional,” the source added.
“Miley loves that this chapter of her life has been more private.”
A rep for Cyrus didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Page Six broke the news that Cyrus and Morando, 27, were engaged after she attended the world premiere for “Avatar: Fire and Ash” with a diamond ring on her finger.
Shortly after the couple walked the red carpet together in early December, Maxx’s dad, Dan Morando, shared a congratulatory post on his social media — further confirming the news.
The “Flowers” singer later opened up about her engagement on “Good Morning America,” revealing the drummer proposed during a recent trip to Asia.
“I am not easy to surprise because I love to control every situation, and I had completely surrendered,” she said.
“And I’m telling you, I was so, so surprised,” Cyrus added.
Cyrus began dating Morando in 2021 after the two were set up on a blind date. They confirmed their relationship a year later when they were spotted making out in Los Angeles.
