Noah Wyle’s ‘The Pitt’ co-star Sepideh Moafi breaks silence on ‘rivalry’ rumors

“The Pitt” star Sepideh Moafi shut down rampant rumors she’s feuding with her co-star Noah Wyle.

“We’re really great colleagues,” the actress insisted to Variety in an interview published Wednesday.

“Noah and I have always had a great working relationship,” she added, noting that this made her feel “safe to do the darker, dirtier work” in a recent episode.

The 40-year-old noted, “Between setups, we were shooting the s–t and laughing.”

Moafi reiterated that speculation the co-stars have “a personal sort of beef or rivalry” are “completely false.”

She quipped, “At least not that I’m aware of. You can check with Noah, but I don’t know about this.”

Wyle did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Moafi joined “The Pitt” in Season 2 as Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi, the new attending physician who arrives to replace Wyle’s Dr. Robby ahead of his sabbatical.

Recent theories claimed Dr. Al-Hashimi’s storyline was related to an alleged real-life rift between the two actors — which Moafi denied.

“Absolutely not,” she told Variety. “I do not have that power.”

Moafi also confirmed she’s returning to the hit HBO Max medical drama for Season 3, though she doesn’t know “to what capacity.”

“I’m positive, I think?” she said with a laugh when asked about her return. “Nothing is clear to me as to what’s happening with the story, how many episodes, all that, but I am coming back.”

The Emmy Award-winning show has undergone multiple cast shakeups already in its first two seasons.

Tracy Ifeachor, who played Dr. Heather Collins, departed the series after Season 1, while news broke in April that Supriya Ganesh was not returning as Dr. Samira Mohan for Season 3.

Wyle, who also executive produces the series, recently warned there could be more cast exits ahead.

“It’s an inevitability that’s going to happen every season with this show because as writers we’re hard pressed to figure out what a lapse of time we can have and keep most of the ensemble together realistically,” he explained to Variety at the show’s April 12 PaleyFest event in Los Angeles.

“Emergency rooms have a high revolving door,” the actor, 54, added. “As always, we try to bring in new characters or promote from within as we go through these cast changes and try to keep the storylines fresh.”

“The Pitt” Season 3 is expected to premiere in January 2027.
