Page Six celebrating fan-favorite reality stars with inaugural ‘Virtual Reali-Tea’ Awards and live event
You get an award and you get an award and you get an award!
Page Six’s viral “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast franchise is expanding to launch the inaugural “Virtual Reali-Tea” Awards, where fans will get a chance to vote on their favorites across several categories starting in July.
The “VRT” Awards will celebrate top reality television talent with categories including “The Golden Kettle (Lifetime Achievement Award),” “Best Clip Clip Clip (Viral Moment),” “Hot-Tea of the Year” and “An Iconic ‘Reali-Tea’ Star is Born,” presented by Tri-State Cadillac, the official auto partner of the awards.
Winners, who will be announced online in September, will be honored at a special “VRT” Awards live show at City Winery in NYC on Sept. 17.
Hosted by “Virtual Reali-Tea” faces Evan Real and Danny Murphy, the live event will bring celebs and fans together for a dynamic evening of gossip and major tea-spilling.
The show will feature intimate interviews with winners of some of the key categories, as well as a special musical performance by “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard Bassett.
More reality TV stars participating in the event will be announced at a later date.
“What started as a pandemic project for us to stay in touch with our favorite reality stars has grown into something bigger than we could have imagined,” Murphy and Real — who also co-host “Page Six Radio” on SiriusXM with editor Ian Mohr — said in a statement Thursday.
“We are overjoyed that Page Six readers love reality TV as much as we do and can’t wait to let them have their say about their favorite stars. Fans do not want to miss this special event!”
City Winery’s Vinofile members can buy pre-sale tickets to the “Virtual Reali-Tea” Awards live event now.
The general sale for everyone else begins Friday.
