Pregnant 49ers WAG Sydney Warner ‘Tired & Exhausted’ in Aftermath of Husband Fred’s Ankle Injury

Sydney Warner is still getting used to life without her husband, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner, on the field every Sunday.

“You guys I’m so tired & exhausted no matter how much ‘sleep’ I get,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on Monday, November 10, over a photo of her purse and makeup on the passenger seat of her car. “How am I going to rally for Holiday season. I have no idea.”

“Makeup in the car kinda morning,” she added underneath.

Fred, 28, suffered a season-ending ankle injury in a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 12, marking the first extended absence during his eight-year career. Sydney, 30, is pregnant with the couple’s second child.

The pair first met in 2020, shortly after she appeared on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor, going home in week six. They married in 2022 and welcomed son Beau in 2024.

“Pulled it together!!!” she wrote on the next slide over a mirror selfie.

In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in December 2024, Sydney admitted it took her a while to find her “footing” as an NFL WAG.

“I think it took me a while to find my niche and where I felt comfortable being a wife, now a mother, a girlfriend at the time,” she said. “Now I’m Fred’s partner and we’re a duo. That’s an amazing thing to say.”

She also praised the other 49ers wives, including designer Kristin Juszczyk, wife of fullback Kyle Juszczyk, and model Olivia Culpo, wife of running back Christian McCaffrey.

“The women are kind of in the spotlight now, which is such a refreshing thing to see,” Sydney said. “It’s really cool to see how things change, you know? To be with such an amazing community and organization like the Niners, I couldn’t have asked for a better situation. We’re so happy to be here and so blessed.”

With Fred sidelined, he watched the 49ers’ loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday with Beau and Sydney in a suite at Levi’s Stadium. He has attempted to stay positive as he navigates a new chapter in his career.

“There’s certain games you wake up knowing it’s gonna be your day, and yesterday was one of those days.” Fred posted via Instagram after his injury. “I knew I was bout to go off, and then boom everything over in one instant that was completely unpreventable. The love everyone has shown me and the prayers being had for me mean the world to me. Some ask why I was able to smile on the cart heading in and it’s because (aside from the shock) I have complete peace in knowing Gods plan is so completely perfect and I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.”

He added, “I’ve had the privilege of being able to have a very healthy 8 seasons and now it’s time to inspire through the comeback I’m bout to have. It will be LEGENDARY and right on time God willing. Thank you guys, love always GO NINERSb 🙏🏾❤️.”
