Presley Gerber’s ex-girlfriend Lexi Wood shares sweet tribute, calls him ‘brave’ and ‘loving’

Presley Gerber’s ex-girlfriend Lexi Wood referred to him as “brave” in a touching ftribute after his tragic death at the age of 27.

“It’s hard to put into words what it means to lose someone who was such a meaningful part of my life for so many years,” the “Summer House” star wrote via Instagram Tuesday, alongside sweet photos with Gerber.

“Through every chapter and every version of our relationship, friendship was always at the core of it. Everyone who loved Presley and was loved by him knows he was one of the kindest, most open, loving and courageous people.”

Wood shared that the son of model Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber was “loved so deeply” and “purely,” referring to him as “incredibly romantic and thoughtful.”

“He was also incredibly resilient,” she continued. “He fought so hard for his life and he was brave enough to be open about that fight. More than anything, he wanted to use his story to help other people, and he did.”

The TV personality described herself as “so lucky to have shared so many years of friendship” with Presley.

“So many memories and so much love with him,” she added. “He will always hold such a special place in my heart, and we will all miss him forever. 🤍.”

Presley and Wood were friends prior to briefly dating in 2022.

“Guys I did it,” Presley captioned a November 2022 photo of himself and Wood,” per Just Jared. “I found the person that makes me the happiest I have ever been.”

The following month, it was reported that the exes had called it quits once they realized their romance wasn’t “long-term,” E! News previously reported.

Presley tragically died at a rehab facility in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday after paramedics responded to a call regarding “cardiac arrest” and “overdose,” per a 911 dispatch call obtained by Page Six.

Additionally, an insider told Page Six that Presley had checked himself into rehab over the weekend, stating that “he knew he needed help.”

According to our source, Presley was “struggling with a lot of things” and wanted “so badly to be free of his addictions.”

In a joint statement, his family asked “for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”

Presley is also survived by his sister, Kaia Gerber.
