‘RHORI’ star Alicia Carmody shares her favorite beauty products
No matter how you slice it, Alicia Carmody is a new Bravo fan favorite.
Whether she’s dishing about her doll collection or designing sequined uniforms for her Pizza Mamma restaurant, the “Real Housewives of Rhode Island” star is doing reality TV her way — and the same goes for her closet.
“If you like it, wear it — and if people make fun of you for it, you learned your lesson,” she told Page Six Style of her “trendy, girly” fashion choices.
After all, while she’s gone viral for her affinity for crackers this season, Ziplocs of saltines aren’t the only bags she’s stepping out with.
“I never though [the crackers] would become thing,” she laughed. “If I did, I would have been talking about, like, Chanel bags.”
Fittingly, she told us she’s “always liked” fellow Chanel devotee Dorit Kemsley’s wardrobe — though she says the RI “Housewife” she’d most like to swap closets with is Liz McGraw. (“She’s got a little bit of everything, and I’m kind of like that too,” she explained.)
While only time will tell what Carmody’s wearing to the show’s upcoming reunion taping — she gave us the word “mermaids” as a hint — it’s safe to say the women of the smallest state will go big on glam.
“Rhode Island is so small, so I think that’s why everyone thinks we look alike,” she quipped. “I feel like we all use each other’s secrets, like you’re using this product, or you go to that hairstylist or where you go for Botox.”
But you needn’t be in the Ocean State to get in on Carmody and co.’s beauty know-how. Below, shop six of the star’s staples, from her hack for perfect curls to her “No. 1” humidity-fighting hairspray.
“I was a hairstylist for my entire life, basically. I love Royal Blowout by Oribe. I’m obsessed with that stuff. I would die without it.”
“It curls for you. You press a button and it just wraps [the hair] around. Oh my God, it’s the best. It’s so easy if people don’t know how to curl their hair.”
“I am obsessed with this rosewater spray. I can’t live without that. “
“I love the Oribe Anti-Humidity Spray. That is like my No. 1 product. Especially in the summer, with frizz and all that.”
“I do not know how to put on fake eyelashes for the life of me, but this one has the glue [already] on it. It makes it a lot easier. You have to wear lashes all the time when you’re filming.”
“I’m obsessed with Charlotte Tilbury everything. I love their Airbrush foundation.”
