RHOSLC’s Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks Can’t Believe All the ‘Lies’ Exposed in Season 6 (Exclusive)

Lisa Barlow is shaking — she’s physically shaking — over the untruths shared in season 6 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
“There’s lies and a lot of turning nothings into somethings to create problems,” Lisa, 50, exclusively told Us Weekly at DIRECTV’s Plot Twist featuring Bravo party on Tuesday, August 12. “Attention and jealousy.”
But she’s not alone.
Longfriend friend and costar Meredith Marks also said she was the subject of lies when Bravo cameras picked up for another unpredictable season.
“Next season is crazy. The second half was a little tough for me,” Meredith, 53, told Us at The Perch by Skylight atop PENN 2 in New York City. “It was a lot more lies, people trying to stir up trouble for me for no reason, and it’s not like I haven’t talked about my life. It’s not like I’m hiding things. There’s nothing to delve into but they seem to want to create things to delve into.”
When asked who she trusts the least, Meredith mentioned the “S***ney duo” — seemingly hinting Whitney Rose could be one of the culprits.
On Thursday, August 14, Bravo released the official trailer for RHOSLC season 6.
According to the previews, Lisa is experiencing marital struggles with her husband, John Barlow. As for Meredith, she has to endure a final dinner that plays like a Greek tragedy.
Both Lisa and Meredith will join returning cast members Whitney, 38, Mary Crosby, Heather Gay, Angie Katsanevas, Bronwyn Newport and friend Britani Bateman on plenty of wild adventures, including a crossover with the crew of Below Deck Down Under.
When asked about her second season with the show, Brittani, 54, teased plenty of twists and turns.
“Expect the unexpected,” she told Us, “because honestly, we found ourselves in situations that I wouldn’t have dreamed in a fever dream.”
Although friendships and alliances may change in season 6, Lisa and Meredith appear to be in a good space.
While spotlighting DIRECTV’s MyEntertainment Genre Pack, the Bravo stars collaborated on a special performance for VIP guests. Meredith served as the event’s DJ while Lisa provided the vocals on a unique rendition of “Yukon” by Justin Bieber.
“Trust the most would be Lisa,” Meredith said when asked about the current cast.
That’s not to say every costar can say the same.
When asked to describe the season in three words, Lisa replied: “Unique, complicated and disruptive.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City returns to Bravo Tuesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET. Stream old episodes anytime on Peacock.
