Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ ex Misa Hylton: Cassie Ventura abuse video ‘triggered my own trauma’

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex Misa Hylton said she was “triggered” seeing the hip-hop mogul physically abuse Cassie Ventura in a surveillance video.
“I am heartbroken that Cassie must relive the horror of her abuse, and my heart goes out to her,” the celebrity stylist wrote on Instagram Tuesday alongside photos of Combs’ seven children.
“I know exactly how she feels, and through my empathy, it has triggered my own trauma.”
Hylton — who shares son Justin, 30, with Combs — said her child and his siblings “were raised by women that want the best for them.”
“We put God and education first and have always been united in our mutual effort to support their dreams,” she added.
“Two of the youngest do not have their mother here and it has been our duty to support them,” the fashion designer, 51 added, referring to the Bad Boy Records founder’s 17-year-old twin daughters, Jesse and D’Lila, whose mom, Kim Porter, died in November 2018.
Hylton, who dated Combs in the early ’90s, concluded her message by saying that the record producer “needs help” and she is “praying that he truly does the personal work and receives it.”
Her post comes less than a week after CNN released a shocking video showing Combs, 54, brutally assaulting his ex Ventura, 37, at a hotel in 2016.
In the clip, the billionaire rapper chased the “Me & U” singer, whom he dated for 10 years, through the hallway of the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles while wearing nothing but a towel around his waist.
As Ventura tried to get on an elevator to escape, Combs grabbed her by the back of the neck and threw her to the floor.
He then kicked her two times as she lay motionless on the floor before dragging her by her sweatshirt.
After the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office announced it would not file charges against Combs due to the statute of limitations, he released a video message on Instagram apologizing for his actions.
“My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted,” he said in part.
In November 2023, Ventura filed a bombshell lawsuit against Combs accusing him of rape and physical abuse. Although the Sean John founder denied her allegations, they settled the suit the following day.
The “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper is now facing four additional lawsuits from men and women accusing him of a range of sexual misconduct and other illegal activity.
Combs has denied all allegations.
