‘SNL’ savagely roasts Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson’s nearly 49-year age gap in cold open
“Saturday Night Live” savagely roasted Bill Belichick and his much younger girlfriend Jordon Hudson‘s nearly 49-year age gap in the show’s cold open.
In the skit, Mikey Day, who played White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, assisted James Austin Johnson, who portrayed President Donald Trump, with signing new executive orders, including one that would make it “socially acceptable” for an older man to date a younger woman.
“Sir, this order will make it socially acceptable for a man in his 70s to date a 24-year-old,” Day’s Miller told the mock Trump.
Johnson’s Trump replied: “That’s right, we’re calling it ‘The Belichick Law.’ We’re going to make girlfriends young again, OK?
“Old men can now date far younger women. We like that. It’s hot! But in reverse, it’s quite disgusting, right? Very ‘Dateline,’” he added.
Johnson’s Trump then asked Day’s Miller if he had seen Belichick’s “hot” girlfriend, to which he replied in a creepy voice: “Yes, she is a beautiful creature.”
Hudson, 24, and the former New England Patriot head coach, 73, first met on a flight in 2021 after he autographed her textbook.
The Bridgewater State University graduate and Belichick were spotted together for the first time in January 2023.
Recently, their relationship came under fire when the former cheerleader interrupted the eight-time Super Bowl champ’s CBS interview to shut down the reporter’s question about how they met.
“We’re not talking about this,” she interjected while sitting nearby off-camera.
In a voiceover, journalist Tony Dokoupil explained that Hudson was a “constant presence” throughout his chat with Belichick.
The interview garnered backlash from several stars, including Dave Portnoy, who said it was the “most awkward Bill Belichick interview I’ve ever seen,” and Charles Barkley, who said he was “a little concerned” about his pal.
Belichick’s daughter-in-law Jennifer Schmitt also slammed Hudson on Instagram after reports surfaced that she “stormed” off the CBS set.
In response to the criticism, Hudson reactivated her X account to reshare posts from fans who defended her intrusive behavior.
One tweet she reposted read, “I see a woman who cares about her man and doesn’t want him to be screwed around by the media.”
Belichick also defended his girlfriend, saying in a statement obtained by Page Six that he agreed to “focus solely on the contents” of his new book, “The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football,” for the interview.
He claimed that after Dokoupil asked about “unrelated topics” several times, Hudson jumped in to “reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion.”
