Taylor Swift Makes Surprise Appearance at New York Knicks vs. San Antonio Spurs Game 4 of NBA Finals

Taylor Swift clearly knows both ball and Aristotle, attending Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals.

Swift, 36, made an appearance at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Wednesday, June 10, to watch the New York Knicks face the San Antonio Spurs. She arrived at the arena properly repping the home team with an orange and blue Knicks shirt, black jeans and an orange Knicks jacket. She kept it sporty by pulling her hair back in a ponytail with a blue hair tie, rocking her signature red lip.

The Haim sisters, who were also in attendance, matched the pop star in their own T-shirts and jeans. Swift’s read Stevie Knicks, while Alana Haim’s said Knickelback and Este Haim had Knickole Kidman.

Swift previously attended one of the Knicks’ games in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers last month. Swift and her fiancé, Ohio native Travis Kelce, sat courtside at Cleveland’s Rocket Arena on May 23.

Swift and Kelce, 36, packed on the PDA before the Knicks ultimately defeated the Cavaliers 121-108. The NYC team later won the entire series, clinching a spot in the NBA finals.

“I will say this, this wasn’t me trying to persuade Taylor into being a Cleveland sports fan with me. This was me just having a fun date night, knowing that I love going to basketball games,” Kelce said on his “New Heights” podcast the next week. “We actually tried going to a game in New York, but I was stuck in Kansas City. I love bringing her into the sports world that I appreciate.”

Swift and Kelce have been together since 2023, getting engaged last summer. As the couple’s romance has continued to heat up, Swift has gotten a crash course in all things football, baseball, hockey and tennis.

“[Fans] have seen us at US Open tennis matches, [and] I’ve had her at other baseball games [like] the Guards versus the Yanks two years ago,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said at the time. “I just enjoy bringing her to experience a lot of the fun that I’ve always known to have [at games].”

Swift is also Kelce’s biggest supporter, cheering enthusiastically at his Chiefs games despite no previous NFL knowledge.

“On our first date, I legitimately asked him what it was like when the Chiefs played the [Philadelphia] Eagles in the Super Bowl and he looked across the field across the line of scrimmage and saw his brother standing on the other [side],” the pop star quipped on “New Heights” in August 2025. “He didn’t even look at me, like, I now know what an insane question that was. He was like, ‘Actually, I’m on the offense and my brother’s on the offense and I’m only on the field at the same time as the defense.’ I thought everyone was on the field at the same time.”

She continued, “I didn’t know what a first down was, I didn’t know what the chains were [and] I didn’t know what a tight end was.”

Swift quickly dove into learning the ins and outs of football, even drafting her own plays.

“I fell in love with it. I became obsessed with it,” she gushed. “I became like a person who was running through the halls of my house screaming, ‘We drafted Xavier Worthy!’ My friends are like, “What? Who body-snatched you?’ … I’m not ready to be an analyst right now, [but] give me 16 months.”
