Tristan Thompson ‘forced’ to get vasectomy after Khloé Kardashian issued ultimatum
Tristan Thompson is keeping up with Khloé Kardashian’s requests.
While being interviewed for his ex’s “Khloé in Wonder Land” podcast Thursday, the retired NBA player revealed the role the reality star played in his vasectomy.
Kardashian, 31, asked Thompson, 35, during the episode whether he wants “more kids in the future,” to which the ex-athlete responded, “I think I signed off for two embryos.”
He clarified, “So, I mean, if I do have more kids, it’d be coming from you. I already have enough baby moms. I don’t want no more. … No more kids, unless it’s coming from Khloé’s embryos.”
Thompson, notably, co-parents daughter True, 8, and son Tatum, 3, with Kardashian, and also fathered sons Prince, 9, and Theo, 4, with Jordan Craig and Maralee Nichols, respectively.
The Good American co-creator called Thompson’s procedure “smart,” adding that she “helped” the athlete make “that decision” with “a little ultimatum from” her.
Thompson asked, “What? Getting neutered? Sometimes you gotta lay them nuts on the table.”
While Thompson did not elaborate further, he confessed to being “stubborn” and “a little hardheaded at times.”
The former Cleveland Cavaliers player quipped, “Sometimes you have to get forced into the right decision.”
Kardashian told listeners that Thompson signed the embryos over to her, so she “legally” owns them.
However, Kardashian shared that Thompson “saved sperm” in case he wants to get married and start a family with his future wife.
“So we did that,” Kardashian said. “Because you could also reverse it.”
Despite the surgery being “very quick,” Thompson insisted, “No. I’m not, no. I’m not laying down on that table again.”
Kardashian and Thompson started dating in 2016, conceiving True two years later.
Days before the “Kardashians” star was set to give birth, footage of her then-boyfriend with another woman surfaced.
At the time, Page Six exclusively reported the entrepreneur “went ballistic” and “was devastated.”
Despite his infidelity, Thompson was present at his daughter’s birth, and the pair reconciled one month later.
Thompson was, however, caught kissing Kylie Jenner’s then-best friend Jordyn Woods at a party the following year.
While he and Kardashian called it quits, they patched things up in July 2020.
In 2021, Instagram model Sydney Chase claimed to have hooked up with Thompson, which led to another split from Kardashian — but the duo didn’t stay apart for long.
“We’re good. We’re actually in a really good place. We just got back together,” Kardashian confessed during an episode of her family’s show.
Their rekindled romance was short lived, with Kardashian ending things after Nichols calling out Thompson for fathering her child in December of that year.
After initially denying the claims, Thompson later confirmed the baby was his.
At the time, Kardashian and Thompson were already expecting their second child together via surrogate.
Since the headline-making paternity scandal, Kardashian and Thompson have remained amicable co-parents.
