What Hayden Panettiere’s family thinks of Wladimir Klitschko’s guardianship filing

Hayden Panettiere’s family fully supports the late actress’ ex Wladimir Klitschko filing for guardianship of their daughter Kaya’s estate, according to a new report.

Multiple sources told TMZ on Tuesday that the retired athlete’s legal move last week to “receive, manage and hold” Kaya’s assets on the 11-year-old’s behalf is simply a formality.

Additionally, insiders noted that the former pro boxer, 50, filed paperwork in Los Angeles Thursday because he lives in Ukraine and wants to protect Kaya’s inheritance in the United States.

They told the outlet, “Wlad is a great father, and we are grateful.”

Kaya, notably, “is entitled to the entirety” of Panettiere’s estate following the “Nashville” alum’s Aug. 16 death at 36.

Klitschko said it was “urgent and essential” that he be named a temporary guardian because there is currently no personal representative acting in Panettiere’s interests.

The heavyweight champ claimed that while the investigation into Panettiere’s overdose last month continues, he was “informed and believes” officials “removed property belonging to Hayden’s Estate” — and specifically alleged jewelry has “disappeared or remain[s] unaccounted for.”

He also claimed the “Heroes” alum’s emails were “accessed and destroyed” by a non-family member.

His paperwork added, “Prior to her death, Hayden and [Klitschko] had hired a security service to protect Hayden’s Home and its contents, arising from a documented concern that an individual had gained unauthorized access to Hayden’s property.”

The filing, which did not name the person in question, continued, “Locks to Hayden’s Home were changed by the security service following Hayden’s death, and storage units containing designer clothing and accessories worn to public appearances have been relocated as a precaution.”

The Olympian expects “the individual will continue to try and misappropriate property belonging to Hayden’s Estate.”

Klitschko’s lawyers have yet to respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

His and Panettiere’s on-again, off-again relationship began in 2009, and the duo got engaged two years later.

The duo welcomed their child the following year before breaking up for good in 2018, the same year Klitschko obtained full custody of Kaya.

Panettiere, tragically, made plans to visit her daughter before overdosing in South Carolina in August, with her cause of death listed as the toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol and quetiapine.

In a touching social media tribute after her passing, Klitschko wrote, “We celebrate her life, her spirit, and the love she brought into this world. … Happy Birthday, Hayden. ❤️ You are loved, you are missed, and you will never be forgotten.”

The Golden Globe nominee was honored at a memorial in Malibu, California, earlier this month.
