When and where to watch ‘Adults’ prequel episode before Season 2
“Adults” Season 2 is still about one month away, but fans will get a special treat today — a brand new episode.
A prequel episode of “Adults” heads to FXX and Hulu later today, July 31, ahead of the Aug. 27 season premiere.
The episode, titled “Marathon Day,” will answer one of the questions many viewers had after watching Season 1: Where did Paul Baker (Jack Innanen) come from?
From the very beginning of the series, it’s clear that Billie (Lucy Freyer), Samir (Malik Elassal), Anton (Owen Thiele) and Issa (Amita Rao) have known each other for years, while Paul Baker, as Issa’s boyfriend, is newer to the group.
“Marathon Day” is Paul Baker’s origin story and reveals how he ended up meeting the rest of the group.
“We’re so excited for the opportunity to show fans how this friend group came to be,” said series creators Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw in a press release. “We love a good origin story, and we can’t wait for you to see where the radioactive spider bit Paul Baker.”
