‘Summer House’ star Kyle Cooke calls Amanda Batula, West Wilson flirting ‘diabolical’
Kyle Cooke thinks it would be “diabolical behavior” if his ex Amanda Batula and West Wilson were secretly hooking up during “Summer House” Season 10.
During an exclusive interview with Page Six at our “Love Letter to ’90s New York: Revisited” event on Thursday, Cooke spoke about the rumors that the couple were having an affair when Cooke was still married to Batula.
The Loverboy founder explained that when he posted on Threads after Tuesday’s episode, which showed Batula and Wilson openly flirting, he didn’t mean to “perpetuate the theory” that the pair’s romance has been going on since last summer.
“It would be insanity… it would be diabolical behavior for them to behave in a flirty way if something was going on,” Cooke told us.
The 43-year-old DJ said he wants Batula, 34, to clear up the timeline of her and Wilson’s relationship at the reunion.
“I hope that Amanda makes it crystal clear at the reunion that that’s not the case,” he said. “I hope I’m correct at the reunion that this was recent.”
Cooke also told us that he had his “jaw open” watching the episode. After the event, he was spotted making out with “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum Meghan King Edmonds, 41.
Tuesday’s “Summer House” — which was filmed several months before Cooke and Batula split in January after four years of marriage — included a shocking scene where Batula told Wilson, 31, to check out her butt.
Batula also berated the sports journalist for making out with another woman in front of her BFF Ciara Miller, who dated Wilson in 2023.
After the episode aired, Cooke posted on Threads that he was blown away by Batula’s behavior.
“Last night’s episode? WTF 🤯,” he wrote.
Batula and Wilson confirmed their relationship in a joint Instagram statement on March 31.
The pair said that their “connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship” and explained that they took time to go public their relationship because they wanted to “approach this with care.”
Up until that point, the duo kept their relationship a secret from the rest of their “Summer House” castmates, including Cooke and Miller, 30.
Cooke defended Batula and urged angry Bravo fans to stop cyberbullying her as she is “not well” amid the fallout.
“Amanda knows that what she did was wrong, and is trying to come to terms with it,” he told street journalist Adam Glyn on April 1.
Miller, meanwhile, called Batula and Wilson’s romance a “mindf–k” in an interview with Glamour on Friday.
The model explained that she feels more betrayed by Batula than Wilson, since Batula was “in my circle and in my corner for so long.”
Miller also pointed that she supported Batula during her marital problems with Cooke.
“I have tried to be there in different ways for you and help you and get you to see your value in yourself,” Miller said.
“And so to be disregarded in such a disrespectful way is … I’m at a loss for words sometimes,” she added.
