‘Battlestar Galactica’ star Tricia Helfer becomes latest celeb to join OnlyFans
“Battlestar Galactica” star Tricia Helfer joined OnlyFans to “take the stigma off.”
“At my age, I am in my ‘do what I want’ phase of life,” the 52-year-old explained to People in an interview, published Friday, of launching an account last month.
“I’m tired of being told what to do and how to do it,” the actress continued. “I’m looking at it as something to have fun with and something that I can be in control of.”
Helfer said her page on the subscription-based social media platform will highlight “the sexier side” of her brand — along with glimpses of her “quiet and silly” life at home.
“I enjoy shocking a little bit,” she shared with the outlet. “Would I shock my parents with the images? Probably.
“My passion is my job as an actor,” Helfer continued, “and I’m using this platform as an extension of my creative, fun and flirty side.”
The “Lucifer” star also admitted she’s been “pleasantly surprised” by the “supportive” fan response she’s gotten since soft-launching her account in April.
But Helfer acknowledged others are “concerned” about her page because she is “pushing boundaries.”
“I’m not saying there shouldn’t be concern,” she shared. “But I tell them, ‘Hey, this is what I’m doing. I’m in control of it. I don’t have to post anything I don’t want to post.’”
Helfer, who split from husband Jonathan Marshall in 2017 after 14 years of marriage, noted she is “not being pushed into anything” and can shut her account down “whenever I want if I decide to.”
Like “American Pie” star Shannon Elizabeth, Helfer confirmed she’s donating a portion of her OnlyFans earnings to animal charities that are near and dear to her heart.
“I’ve done it at least the last 20 years,” she said. “So if I have any success with OnlyFans, then it will actually help me be able to donate more money than I already do and stay involved in ways than I already do.”
Helfer kickstarted her career as a fashion model in the late 1990s and early 2000s, appearing in ads for Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Versace and more.
After shifting to acting, Helfer starred as Number Six in “Battlestar Galactica” and God’s wife in “Lucifer.” She also had a recurring role in “Two and a Half Men.”
Her acting career has slowed in recent years — as is the case with the other celebs who are new to OnlyFans.
Elizabeth, 52, joined the platform on April 16 and made $1 million in her first week on the platform.
The “Scary Movie” star, who quietly split from husband Simon Borchert in September 2025, told Page Six she’s planning to use her massive earnings to buy a home.
“My Name Is Earl” star Jaime Pressly also recently joined OnlyFans so she can “connect directly” with her fans on her own terms.
