Comedian Tom Segura called wife Christina Pazsitzky a ‘sociopath’ a year before split
Some jokes don’t age well.
Comedian Tom Segura told his wife, Christina Pazsitzky, she was “cold as ice” one year before they reportedly split.
“Last night, you told me I was cold as ice and a sociopath,” Pazsitzky said to Segura on the episode of their shared podcast, “Your Mom’s House,” that released July 2, 2025.
“You’re mentally ill,” Segura jokingly responded. “But it’s a kind that I’m familiar with and I still love you.”
“You said that I don’t have feelings and I’m very emotionally cold,” Pazsitzky continued, recalling the previous conversation with her husband.
“You’re cold,” he doubled down. “You’re very Eastern European.”
Segura added that Pazsitzky has “lack of empathy” and “lack of remorse.”
Pazsitzky then admitted she has a hard time “feeling” things and views smiling as a “form of weakness” because of her culture.
However, she argued that Segura isn’t “up in [his] feelings all the time either.”
The two shared that they previously had a “back and forth” on which one of them exhibited more tendencies of “antisocial personality disorder” — both claiming the other did.
On Monday, TMZ reported that the comedians — who have been married for 18 years — separated within the last couple of months but are “completely amicable.”
They co-founded the podcast network YMH Studios in 2025 and co-host “Your Mom’s House,” which debuted in 2012. However, the reportedly estranged couple haven’t filmed an episode together since April.
The comedians share two sons: Ellis and Julian, who were born in 2016 and 2018, respectively.
“They had a special and productive relationship, creating one of the most successful comedy podcast networks in the industry and, more importantly, two kids,” a source told the outlet. “They are taking different paths moving forward while remaining devoted to their children.”
Prior to their seperation, Segura, 47, and Pazsitzky, 50, often discussed their marriage on both their podcast and in their separate stand-up shows.
In her 2017 Netflix special titled “Mother Inferior,” Pazsitzky said, “I love my husband. I laugh at his jokes. I think he’s fantastic. And then all day, every day, I wanna punch him in his dumb face.”
She added, “And it’s not the big things that make you wanna kill your spouse. It’s little stuff.”
Back in 2019, Segura joked during a comedy show that the key to his marriage was “intimidation and fear.”
Segura also hinted at their split by ditching his wedding ring during the latest episode of his other podcast “2 Bears, 1 Cave.”
The hour-long episode aired Monday, the same day as Segura and Pazsitzky’s separation news.
