Dad of 8 Alec Baldwin Asks Wife Hilaria Baldwin for ‘Another Baby’ in Funny New Video

Alec Baldwin may have just hinted that he wants another baby with wife Hilaria Baldwin.

Hilaria, 42, donned a pink bikini in a video shared to Instagram on Monday, August 3, where she told Alec, 68, “I would do anything for you.” In response, Alec said, “Have another baby with me.”

Hilaria swatted the camera as she got up from her seat on the couch and walked away.

“When ‘I’d do anything for you’ meets reality with its terms and conditions … 😂,” Hilaria captioned the video, which was jointly shared to Alec’s account.

Alec became a father when he welcomed daughter Ireland in 1995 with ex-wife Kim Basinger. The actor went on to tie the knot with Hilaria in 2012, and the pair have since welcomed seven children: daughters Carmen, 12, María, 5, and Ilaria, 3, and sons Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 9, Romeo, 8, and Eduardo, 5.

“I would have said before [that I’m] definitely done,” Hilaria exclusively told Us in 2022 after welcoming their youngest child. “Seven kids in, I feel like I am, but it’s Alec and me — so, time will tell!”

In Hilaria’s perspective, the couple’s household hasn’t changed much since their youngest was born. “I have to say that once I passed three kids, I just embraced the chaos,” Hilaria told Us at the time. “We have a wild and super fun house. Always something going on.”

Hilaira went on to admit that “being truly present for each one of them is hard,” noting that she “obviously [doesn’t] get it right all the time.”

“My two oldest have nightly homework that I do with them, and to balance play with the younger ones, breast-feeding the youngest — it can get to be quite a juggle,” she reflected.

In 2025, Hilaria shared in an interview with People that Alec is “always asking me for more kids.”

“Don’t judge me,” Alec replied, before adding, “I don’t really want one.”

“Every now and then, when the baby gets older and grows up to be about 2, I look at [Hilaria] and I go, ‘Time to have another,’” he continued.

While Hilaria noted that the pair’s children are “so cute,” the yoga instructor added, “But my body’s really tired.”

Alec went on to point out that if the pair were not raising a family, he and Hilaria could have been enjoying time together on a trip.

“I always joke with her and say, ‘You know where I should be right now, don’t you? We should be on Geffen’s yacht, drinking a cappuccino and reading a book, and having dinner with Spielberg or whatever,’” he said, while Hilaria chimed in to note that the pair were instead changing diapers.
