WNBA player Lauren Betts shares her skincare and makeup must-haves
Ever wonder what your favorite celebrities buy when they’re browsing their favorite boutique or shopping online late at night? Welcome to Six Picks, where we ask stars to spill their style and beauty must-haves — so you can shop like you’re famous, too.
She’s got a tunnel vision.
After leading UCLA to a championship win, basketball star Lauren Betts is making her mark with the Washington Mystics — and turning heads with her tunnel ‘fits along the way.
“It’s a fun way to show my personality before I step on the court,” she told Page Six Style, saying she’s “definitely a ‘look good, feel good, play good’ person.”
She’s also got the beauty industry betting on her, having scored a campaign for NYX before she was even drafted to the WNBA. (“I love partnering with a brand that encourages people to be confident in who they are,” she explained.)
Below, Betts shares how she gets her game face on, from a sweat-proof setting spray to the $6 lip liner she wears on repeat.
“This is perfect for long days and game days because I need my makeup to actually stay put through everything.”
“I’m a lip combo girl, and this is probably my favorite liner. It’s usually the last thing I put on before I leave and always pulls everything together.”
“These are perfect after travel or a late night when I need to look a little more awake and refreshed the next morning.”
“I adore a really good blush and this duo is my absolute favorite for all-day wear.”
“My skin goes through a lot between games, travel and wearing makeup, so I love anything that makes skincare easy while helping me reset and recharge.”
“I love a cleanser that leaves my skin feeling really clean and refreshed without feeling stripped or dry.”
