Alan Ritchson’s neighbor divulges aftermath of wild street brawl

Ronnie Taylor, the neighbor Alan Ritchson beat up in a shocking video, said he dropped the charges against the actor.

Taylor told TMZ that he decided not to pursue criminal charges because he had no interest in going to court.

“I was only interested in the safety of my neighborhood because he was racing through the neighborhood,” he told the outlet.

“He’s a Hollywood superstar and I’m not. He’s got lawyers. I didn’t even lawyer up,” he added.

Taylor said he abandoned prosecution after the police contacted Ritchson, who also did the same.

Taylor claimed to TMZ that authorities told him — after he dropped the charges — that the “Reacher” star’s actions were in self-defense.

“Police told me standing in front of him and his bike was enough for the claim of self-defense,” he explained.

“I never took a swing at the guy. I pushed him — that’s all I did. I think that also had something to do with the self-defense,” Taylor added.

Additionally, Taylor told the outlet that he walked away without any compensation.

“Not a f–king penny,” he shared.

Page Six has reached out to Ritchson for comment but did not immediately hear back.

On Monday, a video of Ritchson, 43, violently attacking Taylor was released to the public.

In the clip, the “Playdate” actor allegedly hit the man multiple times as he kneeled on the ground last Saturday.

Two young boys, who are believed to be Ritchson’s sons, watched from their motorbikes while the actor’s bike lay in the road.

Taylor told TMZ at the time that the incident began after Ritchson allegedly sped his green Kawasaki bike through the neighborhood and loudly revved his engine.

The following day, when Ritchson rode his motorcycle by Taylor’s home again, the latter walked out in front of the “Smallville” alum and I said, “You got to stop. Someone’s going to get hurt.”

“Then it escalated quite quickly from there. I did push him because he was coming toward me on his bike,” Taylor told TMZ.

Taylor said Ritchson “got off his bike, and he kicked the crap out of me.”

“He hit me in the back of my head [and] I went to the ground and covered myself,” he claimed.

On Wednesday, Eric Schiffer, chairman of the Los Angeles–based firm Reputation Management Consultants, exclusively told Page Six that the “Fast X” star’s career could gain momentum due to the incident.

“This isn’t the kiss of death and won’t put a bullet through Alan’s career,” Schiffer told us.

“The throwdown feeds the ‘Reacher’ machine because his audience loves fighters and hates cowards,” he added.

“This is the same hard-shell authenticity his brand sells and a street-level reminder his tough-guy persona isn’t rented.”
